Generico/Report Leadership

Generico is a fictitious company created by Report Leadership – a multi-stakeholder group that aims to challenge established thinking on corporate reporting. The contributors to this initiative are the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Radley Yeldar.

In 2006, Report Leadership published a guide to some of the key issues that investors raise about reporting. It was illustrated with extracts from an annual report for Generico to show how our ideas can work in practice. In 2007, we have addressed how this fictional report can be communicated online. As in the initial publication, we haven’t attempted to address all areas of corporate reporting: this is not a complete report.

Security and privacy

Report Leadership’s website uses security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of any information under our control. We store the information in a database in a secure environment at our data/hosting centre.

We will not share, sell, or rent individual personal information without explicit permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you publications or emails based on your requests for information.

Information tracked

At times we will use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website. We also may track browser types to help us understand our visitors’ needs related to our website design.

Cookies

Client-side cookies used on this site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. They allow us to recognise you when you return to our website and display preferences and information you have previously selected. If you do not want to accept a cookie when you visit our website, you should be able to change the settings in your browser to disable this function. However by doing this there may be sections of the site that you are unable to use.
